 As you might have figured by now, Bakersfield is a place with a lot of action every month. That’s why as a Bakersfield real estate agent, I feel like I must let the people know what’s going on in Bakersfield. Here I bring you the Things to do in Bakersfield – October 2023 edition! 

Just like the past months, the month of October is not the one to be underestimated. There are a lot of fall festivities that are happening and if you want to know what happened last month or the month before, you can view our articles on both the September and August editions.

All-American Rejects/New Found Glory at Mechanics Bank Theater

Let’s get your groove on with the Amazing All-American Rejects and New Found Glory at the Mechanics Bank Theater.

The amazing bands will be performing for you at around 7:00 PM on 2nd October 2023.  Enjoy an amazing musical night with your favorite rock band. You can start entering the theater at 6 p.m.

Tickets are priced at around $54.50 and up which can be purchased from AXS.com. So, be ready to start your month with a musical bang!

Brett Young Performing at Dignity Health Amphitheater

The next event on my list is a musical as well, I am sure most of you know Brett Young, the amazing pop singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Well, he will be performing for you at the Dignity Health Amphitheater.

So, save the date and time on your calendar and make your way toward the  Amphitheater on the 4th of October between 6:30 PM to 9 PM.

Tickets for this event will leave a smaller mark on your pocket and you can get them from AXS.com at the price of $26 and above.

Pumpkin and Dinosaurs Craft Class at Buena Vista Museum

Your little ones deserve fun activities as well and in October you can increase their creativity by taking them to craft class.

At the Buena Vista Museum, from 10:30 to 11:30 am on 7 October 2023, the pumpkin and dinosaur craft class will take with which will be supervised by Carol Bowman.

The class will cost you a measly $6 to $10 and is for kids only. The tickets will be purchased on-site, however, you should reserve your space since there are a limited amount of seats. To reserve call 661-324-6350.

The Beach Boys at Dignity Health Amphitheater

Oh boy! The music just doesn’t stop this month, I think the month of October just wants you to keep grooving.

This time it’s none other than the beach boys, so get your classical music mode on and head over to the Dignity Health Amphitheater on 13th October, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Disney on Ice presents Into The Magic at Mechanics Bay Arena

Are your children Frozen fans? Of course, they are! This event is a blast of an event for your children. Get into the world of Frozen, and spend time with two of your favorite sisters.

The Elsa and Anna character experience can be enjoyed for 3 days straight starting from October 13 to 15th at Mechanics Bay Arena.

The tickets are up for grabs from 20$ and up, so save the date and head over there for an amazing Disney experience.

NOR fall festival at Almondale Park

Have a blast with your friends, family, or children at the NOR fall festival with a lot of activities. Enjoy vendor booths, bouncy houses, a kid’s zone with many different carnival games, and much more.

Cheap Trick performing at the Historic Bakersfield Fox Theater

Yet another rock band performance is happening at the Historic Bakersfield Fox Theater on 15 October 2023 at 8:00 PM. See I told you this is the month for grooving.

Bakersfield Fall Home Show at K.C Fairgrounds

The 31st Annual Bakersfield Fall home show is taking place at the K.C Fairgrounds from 20 to 22 October from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

You will be in charge of this event and can check out different businesses and choose the right professional as you see fit. You will not be bombarded with the annoying sales rep.

Tickets can be purchased on-site with a $2.00 Entry fee and a $10/$5 parking fee.

Boo at the Zoo After Dark at CALM (Double feature movie)

Bring your kids to CALM Zoo on 20th October at 5:30 PM in Halloween costumes to this event and enjoy a great time with your family. This event is not only fun for kids but is also great for adults.

With a lot of activities, games, and festive decorations it can prove to be the perfect Halloween event that you are looking for.

Tickets are free for CALM members, for others, it costs $12 for adults and $3 for kids up to 12 years old with food service included.

Halloween Pub Crawl at Downtown Bakersfield

Safe Halloween at Kern Country Museum
