I think it’s safe to say that Bakersfield has figured out a way to please everyone, well maybe that’s because of better planning or just better development projects.
Today, I am highlighting something that will please all retirees. Yes! I am talking about a community that is heaven for all those adults over 55.
The place I am talking about is called Brighton Park. It’s a community that is very highly desired in Bakersfield and it’s located in the 93312 zip code. I’ve already made a video about this that will be linked at the end of this article.

Brighton Park An Amazing Community for Old People
The community is something that can be considered a comfortable place to live in because it was designed to keep the comfort of its occupants in mind.
This amazing community was built between 2006-2016 and it has a lot to offer. You’ll find walkways, parks, and recreational centers, and the location of this community makes it a perfectly convenient place.
It’s located just off Jewetta Avenue which is between Brimhall and Stockdale. The location places it at the center of the prime hotspot.
This community can house up to 425 families because it has 425 single-family residences. Out of which, many can be found vacant and up for grabs.

Prime Location Benefits
Since Brighton Park is located in such a good and prime area, the occupants can enjoy a lot of benefits such as a lot of premium eateries that are just around mostly at walking distance or a 5-10 mins drive.
Moreover, the occupants can also take their health towards the fitter side by taking daily strolls in Riverwalk Park. You can exercise, run, take your dog to the park, etc.
All those ladies or even gents out there who love to shop will find this place amazing as well because of the variety of shopping
It’s located in between BCHS Bakersfield Christian and Liberty High School, so if you have grandchildren and they are attending these schools they are just within walking distance.
They can come to you after school, maybe you can bake some cookies or have some fun activities with your grandchildren, I mean who doesn’t love going to their grandparent’s house right?

Brighton Park is not a dull community for the residents. Once you move here, you can enjoy many activities that are mentioned above.
Other than this, it has a 4000-square-foot recreation center, and it has a lot to offer. You can play games, enjoy a nice swim in the swimming pool, or take your fitness to the next level by hitting the gym.
With just a $171 HOA fee, you can enjoy all this with a maintained and secure environment for the residents of this community.
What More Does it Have to Offer?
The location of Brighton Park is further enhanced by the convenient park by the Riverwalk and the walking path.
In the riverwalk park, you’ll find a river when water is in it. So, you can enjoy a nice stroll on the walking path with a fresh breeze and a beautiful river flowing nearby. What more can one ask for right?
Also, Brighton Park is located near Westside Parkway freeway which connects 99 to the west part of the town.
All of these features are just scraping the surface a bit, a quick visit to the community will reveal way more than I can put down in words.
Oh yes, talking about putting things in words, this community is close to the Church Bridge Bible which makes it a hot spot for people who lean more towards the religious side.
As I said, It has a lot to offer, and every resident can keep themselves busy, everything is just a short drive or walking distance away.
How Much Houses in Brighton Park Cost?
Brighton Park is a quiet place, I mean a very quiet place. Plus with the roads wider than most communities from around it’s truly a standout community.
So, considering all the perks and everything I have mentioned so far, the houses in this community come at a price in the high 400,000 range. There are upgraded versions that will cost you much higher.

The upgrades have things like plantation shutters and a lot more. The houses in this community sell fast and go under contract after just 2 weeks of listing at max. So, you need to act fast if you find something interesting.

Brighton Park is a perfect retirement community in Bakersfield in my opinion. It offers everything for adults over 55.
This community is planned by keeping the comfort of the residents in mind and that’s the reason the houses in this community sell fast.
