Parade didn’t fulfill your hunger for activities? Well, say no more, another event will take place in Downtown Bakersfield on  6th December 2024 (5-9 PM).

You can enjoy food, do a lot of shopping, there will be games. So, join others in this amazing carnival with holiday food vendors, many festive games, and much more…

Santa is back at “The Marketplace” and is eagerly waiting for people to come a say “Hi”. He’ll be waiting for you between 6-22 December from 12 pm to 4 Pm.

You can get a free Santa Photo for a $35 minimum purchase at the marketplace. No tickets are required, but do RSVP as we appreciate that. Remember even RSVP from Eventbrite does not mean that any spot on the line is yours to take. So be civil and wait for your turn in line!

Who doesn’t know Micheal W. Smith and his performance in Fox Theater every Christmas are memorable.

The event will take place between 5-9 PM on  December 7, 2024, I would say this is a perfect event for both kids and adults and the entry fee is minimal.

Breakfast with Santa @ Rasmussen Senior Center

Rasmussen Senior Center is hosting breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 7, 2024, between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM. The fee is nominal and you can get in with just a $10 ticket and if you have kids under 2 years they can go free.

This is a perfect event but have limited seats so grab your spots now before they run out. Get ready to meet Santa, take pictures, and enjoy amazing meals.

Mental Health Awareness Ugly Sweater Bast @ The Well

Get ready to be entertained, participate in raffles, have amazing food and drinks, take part in contests, and face paintings

Tickets are $15 pre-sale and $20 when you arrive at the door. There are VIP booths with $80 tickets but they are limited to 7.

The only rule is you have to wear your ugly sweater so you can take part in the ugly sweater contest and bring as many people as you want. The event is for all ages.

Pam Tillis & Lorrie Morgon’s grits and glamor tour is coming to Bakersfield. These two amazing singers are performing together in the Fox Theater on  8 December 2024

Bead Buddies: Christmas Trees & Candy Canes at Beale Library

Not everyone because very young children and toddlers can choke on the beads that’s why the event is not suitable for them.

Apart from that this 1 hr 30 min event is fun for all and is taking place in Beale Memorial Library; Tejon Room on the second floor between 2:30 pm and 4:0pm on December 9th.

Candlelight: Holiday Special at Dore Theater CSUB

Another fun musical event with a multi-sensory musical experience under candlelight. Get your groove on with holiday-inspired music at the Dore Theater.

Seatings are assigned on a first come first served so make sure to be there as early as possible. The duration of the event is 65 Minutes and two sessions will start at 6:30 PM and 9:00 PM on Saturday 14th December.

This monthly event will take place on December 14th between 10 am to 3 pm at the Villas at Scenic River.

You can head over to the event and shop from your local crafters and vendors. There is no entry and anyone can join

The duration of the event is 5 hours so you’ll have plenty of time to shop.

Messiah Sing-along with the Bakersfield Master Chorale

This is a free community event where you can donate. The Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra members will be caroling with Bakersfield Master Charole and you can join them.

This event will take place at the Harvey Auditorium on December 17th, 2024 at 6:30 PM. With this event, we will wrap things up in Bakersfield: December 2024 edition.
